Born in New York, Gillian Welch probably didn’t think at that time what kind of success the legendary Revival album will have. But talent is a unique gift and just a couple of years later a new creation called Hell Among the Yearlings appears and is being absolutely loved by the admirers from all over the world.

Soon after the official release of Hell Among the Yearlings a massive crowd turned out at a Telluride Bluegrass Festival 2005 (2005-06-16 – 2005-06-19) concert which was a truly noticeable even in the folk music history. The next Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival 2007, Day 1: Gobi Tent (2007-04-27) featured hits from albums Revival, Hell Among the Yearlings and even a newly released Time (The Revelator).
