Ever since the release of their debut album in 2015, Khemmis has worked hard to trod up the halls of the heavy metal genre. Their sound is reminiscent of the genre and they are backed by supportive fans and family back in their hometown of Denver. Their continued efforts and melodious music as seen them traveling the country, promoting their recent release ‘Hunted’.

Khemmis recently released their album ‘Hunted’ and they have been on tour for most of 2017. It has tracks such as “Three Gates,” “Candlelight” and ‘Beyond the Door”. The title track is a lengthy, 13-minute stunner. Their last work seems to have overtaken their first album with first place on the Decibel Magazine listing and has made the Rolling Stone top 20 list, taking the number 11 position.
Biography
The Denver heavy metal group, Khemmis, made their debut in July 2015. It consists of members Phil Pendergast, Ben Hutcherson, Daniel Beiers along with Zach Coleman who got together in 2012. The band idolized the city of Khemmis, which is in Egypt and choose that name for the group. The place has since been renamed Akhmm.
Hailing from Colorado, ‘Absolution’ their album was filled with the typical heaviness of its genre. Its composition garnered them recognition outside their Denver city walls and soon their music was moving up the charts. They attained the number nine position, in top 40 albums, on Decibel Magazine’s listing.
Tour Dates
The hard rock and metal band, Khemmis, is on tour in a city near you! They played in cities across Canada into the United States. Khemmis’ tour continues to May 2018, all across North America.
