New Kanye West Tour 2018
I would like to use this space to tell you everything about the great Kanye West! He will be going on tour again very soon: his new tour is kicking off on the 8th of November in the Odyssey Arena in Belfast, Ireland. The previous tour, the 2007 Glow In The Dark Tour was great, too! I went to one of his concerts and I just couldn’t believe how good he was. I have been reading about Kanye West a lot lately and I read he was born in Atlanta, Georgia, USA on June 8th 1977. He has released 3 albums so far: The College Dropout (2004), Late Registration (2005) and Graduation (2007). I bought all three albums and they are just great! Did you know that Kanye West nearly died in a car accident in 2002? He wrote the song ‘Through the Wire’ about that experience. Other cool songs I like are ‘Diamonds from Sierra Leone’, ‘Gold Digger’ and ‘Homecoming’ . What I find poignant is the fact that the broke down on stage once when he sang ‘Hey Mama’ a song dedicated to his mother who died recently.

If you are into Chicago hip hop, which I am, you will definitively love this artist. What is so extraordinary about Kanye West is the fact that he is also a brilliant producer on top of being this gifted rapper: he has produced singles for the likes of Jay-Z, Alicia Keys and Janet Jackson. He has also worked with the legendary Mobb Deep and Scarface. No wonder he has won 9 Grammy Awards! I have always been into hip hop music, e.g. Wu-Tang Clan, Cypress Hill and many others but this artist is really innovative: the way he uses samples is just spectacular and very innovative. It sounds like it’s from a different planet!
Kanye West Controversies
What I find interesting is the fact that Kanye West is so outspoken about many issues. For instance, he wrote a song called ‘Crack Music’, which is about his theory that the Reagan government placed crack cocaine in the ghettos to wipe out the Black Panthers! In the song ‘All Falls Down’ he cleverly changed the lyrics so when he performed it live at a gig he sang ‘George Bush Gets Paid Off of All of That’ He is not really into white, Republican presidents, is he? Anyway, you should really check it all out for yourself!
